DOCTORALES ASRDLF 2021 POITIERS WEB3

Doctoral Student Conference 2021 of ASRDLF
24-26 February 2021, University of Poitiers, France

The French Speaking Section (ASRDLF) of ERSA is happy to annouce the Doctoral Students Annual Conference 2021. This year’s edition is organized by by the Territories Research Federation FED4229 in partnership with the ASRDLF.

The ASRDLF Doctoral is an annual meeting of Doctoral students and confirmed researchers who are enrolled in the field of regional sciences. This event is intended for PhD students and researchers who examine regional issues of Human and Social Sciences (planning, economics, town planning, geography, management, history, law, political science, sociology, etc.) when their work focuses on territorial issues.

Doctoral studies are a time for exchanges and privileged debates between young researchers and experienced researchers. This event takes place in the form of thematic workshops where 3 to 5 doctoral students present their work in front of several teacher-researchers and doctoral students and thus benefit from their views and experiences.

The days traditionally revolve around plenary sessions in the form of conferences, debates and round tables. This year, we have chosen to make these moments of reflection and discussion widely accessible to the community of the University of Poitiers and to the general public.

The doctoral days will be punctuated by presentations and sequences of information and training on the completion of a thesis in the presence of:

  • Directors of doctoral schools
  • Presidents of CNU (geography, town planning and economy …),
  • Presentation of the MT180 competition
  • Presentation of professional integration measures after the doctorate …

The doctoral studies, which bring together around a hundred French-speaking participants, are organized by the Fédération de Recherche Territoires in collaboration with the Association de science régionale de langue française (ASRDLF) and in partnership with the Confederal University of Leonardo Da Vinci, the Doctoral College of Poitiers, the Human Sciences and Arts UFR and the Ruralities Laboratory.
