Fischer, Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, Austria - Peter Nijkamp, Free University of Amsterdam, Netherlands - Roger R. Stough, George Mason School of Public Policy, Fairfax, USA, President of the Regional Science Association International (RSAI) Conference sessions: The conference programme will be divided into thematic sessions that will be held in English. Besides ordinary sessions, a session for young scientists (doctoral students and researchers up to 33 years old - year of birth 1976 and younger) is planned. Papers presented by young scientists may apply for an award. A. Regional science in CEE countries - new challenges, new topics? B. Regional economic growth and development C. Regional economic modeling, geographical information systems D. Infrastructure, transport, mobility and communication E. New technologies, innovation and entrepreneurship F. Decentralization and regional policy Submission of Abstracts and Papers: Prospective authors are invited to submit an electronic version of an abstract. Each paper must indicate the general topic area. Important Dates & Deadlines: - Abstract submission before April 30th, 2009 - Notification of acceptance of abstracts by May 25th, 2009 - Registration: -- Early reservation from March 2009 until May 31st, 2009 -- Late reservation from June 1st, 2009 - Submission of full papers before September 30th, 2009 |
