ERSA 2016: CALL for Special Sessions' proposalsThe added-value of special sessions in ERSA congresses is undeniable. 
Gunther Maier, Chair of the 2016 Local Organising Committee invites you to make proposals of Regional Science topics you would like to present during the Congress.
We kindly request you to send your proposal via the online submission form. If you want to submit more than one topic, please fill in twice the form.

DG REGIO & ERSA: LECTURE SERIES
A new series of academic lectures on key issues of regional policy.
Update 
The 1st Lecture Series for this year programme was held last Friday in DG Region Building, Brussels.
Success ! Over 60 participants with interesting comments and questions.
The Topic :"The Impact of Cohension Policy on 'old' and 'new' Member States" was covered by 
Prof. John Bachtler, University of Strathclyde and  Prof. Grzeg orz Gorzelak, University of Warsaw
Thank you to Prof. Daniela L. Constantin, President of the Romanian ERSA Section for being the discussant of this first Lecture.
ERSA members are encouraged to participate in these lecture series organized in cooperation with the European Commission because interaction between scientists and policymakers are essential to make concrete steps forward.

RSAI 2016
As you are aware, next year's RSAI World Congress will be held in Istanbul and hosted by ERSA Turkish Section. Tüzin Baycan has been designated as the Chair of the Local Organising Committee.
