Specialisation courses on maritime / air / research

C-MAT, the Centre for Maritime & Air Transport Management at the University of Antwerp, in cooperation with TransportNET, offers a number of specialization courses to both students and professionals. All courses are offered in either one- or two-week blocks. Upon successful completion of a course, participants receive official academic credits and a certificate.

Antwerp Rail School 2017

TransportNET, in co-operation with Ricardo Rail, is proud to host the 5th edition of the Antwerp Railschool, taking place from 6-10 March 2017 at the University of Antwerp. The objective of the Antwerp Railschool is bringing scientific knowledge and rail practice closer together. Speakers from the TransportNET universities and other organisations will contribute through conceptual, framework and process inputs, whilst well-known rail (supporting) organisations will give practical, in-depth insights into their strategic decision-making.

Pictures of the past Seminar on Railway Policy

Passenger transport has long been characterised by intermodal competition. Even if each mode of transport had a specified market segment where it could develop essentially free from competition, competition remained at the edges of the modes’ respective areas of influence. However, in recent years the borders of these areas of influences have shifted, for various reasons. This seminar at University of Lyon on 4 November brought together academics, business practitioners and policy-makers.
