Main Congress Features
The 2014 Congress will feature "benchmarking issues in regional policy and planning as well as Arctic issues in the regional development".
The Local Organising Committee has also the ambition to "put forward European regional science on new intellectual territories".
And also "promote further deeper integration Russian Regional Science and scholars into the family of European regional scholars".

Call: Abstracts and Papers
We're excited to announce the launch of the CALL for abstracts / papers, to the ERSA Congress 2014 in St Petersburg .
The Scientific Committee will review the abstracts and the papers all together at the same time.

Call: Special Session proposals
The Local Organising Committee would like to give you the opportunity to make a proposal for a Special Session Topic.
You can choose one topic from the list of Special Session Topics or propose another topic. The Local Organising Committee is particularly interested in receiving proposals on:
- Cooperation of the regions and cities
- Best practices for regional and urban development

As you know the EIB-ERSA Prize in Regional Science has been created to recognise outstanding contributions of scholar to the advancement of science at the European level.
The European Investment Bank - Institute has increased its contribution for this prize, to 10,000 Euros for the winner, at this years' Congress.
