International Conference "Spatial Thinking and Geographic Information Sciences" (STGIS2011)

The international conference "Spatial Thinking and Geographic Information Sciences" will take place at the University of Tokyo from the 14th through the 16th September, 2011. This conference will be a great opportunity for all scholars studying on spatial thinking and geographic information science to get together. We will be able to share our findings and world-leading research from our contributors with participants from all over the world.

We are looking forward to seeing all of you in Tokyo!

Date: 14th - 16th of September, 2011

Venue: Hongo campus, The University of Tokyo

Registration fee: Free of charge (registration is required)

 

[Call for papers]

Authors are also invited to submit original and unpublished papers. Submissions should beno longer than 8000 words including a short abstract, tables, equations, etc. The abstract should not be repeated in the first paragraph.  Submission will be possible  from October 1st to December 15, 2010 and the submitted papers will be peer reviewed afterwards. Only the authors of the accepted papers will be given the opportunity to present their research. Furthermore, we will select the highest quality papers and publish in a special issue  of the Environment and Planning B: Planning and Design. Again, the papers can be submitted from October 1st to December 15th, 2010 at our webpage:http://curricula.csis.u-tokyo.ac.jp/stgis2011/
