The European Regional Science Association (ERSA) is pleased to announce the 39th ERSA Summer School, organised in collaboration with the University of Beira Interior (UBI), NECE – Research Centre for Business Sciences, and APDR.

21–26 June 2026This year’s theme focuses on: Circular Cities, Clusters, Ecosystems and Regions: Public Policies for Sustainable Regional Development
The Summer School will bring together PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and young scholars interested in advancing their research on regional development, innovation ecosystems and public policy.

• Lectures by internationally recognised scholars
• Opportunities to present and discuss their research
• Networking with young researchers from around the world
