ERSA2019 Call for Abstracts (and) Papers is OPEN!

We are very proud and excited to launch today the Call for Abstracts (and) Papers for the 59th ERSA Congress . The ERSA2019 Central theme is '"Cities, regions and digital transformations: Opportunities, risks and challenges".

A few weeks ago, we launched the Call for Special Sessions, which have been recognized as added-value to the programme. The success is once again undeniable: We are proud of our selection of over 50 Special Sessions Themes covering areas such as digital and territorial transformations, innovation and development, mobility, health and socio-spatial inequalities but also engineering and big data. We are confident that these sessions will once again provide opportunities to move forward the impact of regional science research on society.

Moreover, we propose 25 General Themes, which will compliment the programme with high academic quality for presentations in refereed sessions, Young Scientists sessions and ordinary sessions.

We are also happy to update you on the Plenary and Keynote Lectures and are proud of having already two eminent scholars confirmed: Jacques-François Thisse and Yannis Psycharis.
